Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana, has been appointed as the National General Secretary of the BJP.
According to sources, the development came ahead of the 2023 Telangana Elections and the 2024 National Elections. On the 29th of July, Saturday, Mr. J.P. Nadda, the National President of the BJP, made the decision and appointed Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
Notably, recently, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar was relieved from the position of the President of the BJP in Telangana.
In addition, Ms. D.K. Aruna from Telangana would continue as the National Vice President, and Mr. Satyakumar from Andhra Pradesh would continue as the National Secretary of the BJP.
Earlier, there were reports that Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who was removed from the Presidential position of the Telangan BJP unit, would get a position in the national leadership. However, an official announcement in this regard was made by Mr. J.P. Nadda, on the 29th of July.
The decision to give an important role to Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar in the national BJP ahead of the elections, was taken after considering his marvellous service as the Telangana BJP President.
