The former minister and a Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) dismissed rumours of quitting the YSRCP.

In Andhra Pradesh, media reported that Mr. Balineni Srinivasa Reddy is planning to quit the ruling YSRCP Government and join the Pawan Kalya led JanaSena Party.  However, on the 10th of August, Wednesday, Mr. Banileli Srinivas Reddy has denied the media reports that he is joining the JanaSena party.

In a media conference organized in Ongole, the YSRCP MLA said that some people are spreading evil propaganda against him.  He added that such incidents are painful.

Mr. Balineni Srinivas Reddy also made it clear that he cannot do chameleon politics and said that as long as he is in politics he will stay with the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy (the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh) family who gave him political alms.

Mr. Balineni Srinivas Reddy said that Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP Government is doing a lot of good to the family of handloom weavers.  He said he had responded to Pawan Kalyan’s tweet with a good intention.

Mr. Balineni said that he will talk to CM Jagan about the recent rumours against him. He said that an inquiry will be conducted in the case of Gorantla Madhav and action will be taken accordingly. He said that the differences between the leaders in Giddalur constituency have been resolved.
