Popular entertainment and news website Reddit is all set to venture into creating its own set of videos and is planning to focus more on the original content. Reddit has already roped in few bigger names from the news world to start creating videos on the news which updates on the site.

While talking to leading news portals, the co-founder of Reddit Alexis Ohanian said, “Reddit’s mission is to connect people across the world through authentic conversations, collaboration, and community — video is an amazing storytelling medium and there’s no better wellspring of original stories than Reddit”.
ASK ME ANYTHING
Ohanian said that their priority is to initially focus on translating the popular interview show Ask Me Anything into videos, which featured many celebrities and big names that include Bill Gates, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Bently among others, and is now willing to have Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West in the show.

The company further tries to strengthen its privacy policy in its stand in support of revenge porn, to avoid cases of internet embarrassment as Reddit earlier face when few public photos of celebrities were leaked on Reddit.
