On Tuesday, Telangana Government Doctors JAC members submitted a strike notice to Principal Secretary of Health Department A. Shanti Kumari.

He further added if demands are not met the doctors will boycott Out Patient services without warning. The doctors will follow this by boycotting emergency services if the Government fails to meet their demands.

Government doctors went on a similar strike for the same demands last year in April. But the protest was called off after the Health Department assured their demands would be met.
