Hyderabad Organises A Road Show

The Domestic Tour Operators Association of Jammu and Kashmir (DTOAK,) in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Tourism, on the 25th of February, organised a road show in Hyderabad.

The show was organised to promote tourism in Jammu and Kashmir among the citizens of Hyderabad, Telangana. The show included showcasing the tourists attractions, the heritage and the culture of Jammu and Kashmir. The show also aimed to promote a positive image of the State, especially for the tourists. This was an attempt to help the State get rid of its negative image of being unsafe.

Hamid Wangoo, the President of the DTOAK, appealed to the citizens of Hyderabad to attend the show and also spoke about the myth regarding Jammu and Kashmir not being a safe place for tourists. He further said, it is the safest place for tourists.

Prominent personalities such as V. Srinivas Goud, the Tourism Minister of Telangana, B. Venkatesham, the Secretary of the Tourism of Telangana, Sunita M. Bhagwat, the Commissioner of Tourism, were present at the event.

Apart from officials of the Ministry of Tourism, leading tourist companies and travel operators also attended the event organised at Hotel Plaza, Hyderabad.
