Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is all set to launch the second phase of the House warming Program. The program aims to build permanent shelters for 3 lakh families in Andhra Pradesh. The program is said to be inaugurated at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada.

The Minister of Information, Public Relations and Rural Housing, Kalava Srinivasulu confirms the program will cover 174 constituencies including 12,767 gram panchayats and 2093 municipals including 700 plus mandals and municipalities.

The target is to complete the construction of 10 lakh two bedroom housing spaces by 2019. The AP Government, in order to maintain transparancy in monetary transactions, has resorted to online crediting to its beneficiaries.

More than 15,000 houses are targeted to be constructed in districts including Srikakulam, Vizianagram, Nellore, Kadapa, Anantapur, and Guntur. More than 25, 000 contructions are targeted in Vishakhapatnam, East and West Godavari, Chittoor and Kurnool.
