Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said on Monday,  the government would create five crore jobs by 2022. Speaking at the inauguration of a Job Mela, Fair, in Hyderabad he said that there would be more jobs fairs in Telangana state that will provide employment to many youngsters in the future.

Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya asserted the youth of the country that Central government would create 5 crore skill based jobs by 2022

The minister also said the Central Government has granted Rs. 170 crores for skills development centers in the Telangana State. He said, “The Central Government is giving more importance to skilled employees. So the State government should concentrate more on skill development in the state to provide better employment opportunities for the youth.” The job fair held on Monday saw a turn up of 10,000 people. There were 60 companies present at the job fair that provided employment to 1000 persons in various skill set sectors.

About Skill India campaign in 2015, Prime Minister Modi asserted that through a policy driven approach we have waged a war against poverty and we have to win this war. India’s youth is not happy simply asking for things. He or she wants to live with pride and dignity. I believe Indian youth has immense talent, they just want opportunities. He also said that each poor person and unprivileged youngster was a soldier in this war. This program is not only limited to skill development but also helps in learning entrepreneurship.
