A renowned wrestler “The Great Khali, ” Mr. Dalip Singh Rana joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)

On the 10th of February, Thursday, Mr. Dalip Singh Rana reached the party headquarters in Delhi and wore a saffron shawl, becoming a BJP member.

The Great Khali joined the ruling Government (BJP) in the presence of Mr. J.P. Nadda, the National President of the BJP, and other senior leaders of the party.

Notably, the developments came ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections.

The Punjab Assembly elections are to be held in one phase, on February 20. This time, the BJP is contesting the Punjab elections in alliance with the new party of Captain Amarinder Singh, the former Chief Minister of Punjab.

Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and party ye Indian National Congress (INC) are contesting the elections against the BJP.
