Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister for Telangana State, met with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

During the meeting on the 21st of December, Tuesday, in Delhi, Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Tourism and Culture Minister discussed the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections.  Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) Mr. Eatala Rajender, the BJP Leader, the BJP National Vice President Ms. D.K. Aruna and Members of Parliament (MPs) like Mr. D. Aravind, former MPs like Mr. Vijay Shanti, Mr. G. Mohan Rao, Mr. Jitender Reddy and others were also present during the meeting.

During the meeting, the Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah instructed the BJP leadership to educate the public about the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government’s rule.  He also asked the BJP leaders of Telangana to be ready even if the TRS calls for an early election.  Mr. Amit Shah said, “You must give, not one but four befitting replies to each charge made against the BJP by TRS.”  He further added, “The bottom line is that you should be in the midst of people and expose the hollowness of TRS government’s claims in paddy procurement.”

Furthermore, Union Minister Mr. Piyush Goyal, who was also present during the meeting said, “The Telangana CM was speaking white lies on paddy procurement.  You should set the record straight by explaining to people the actual picture.”

Another major discussion during the meeting in Delhi was regarding the visit of Amit Shah to Telangana.

According to sources, Mr. Amit Shah would visit Telangana for two days.  During the two day visit after the 23rd of December, Mr. Amit Shah would attend a public meeting either in Hyderabad or Siddipet.

However, an official announcement regarding the visit is yet to be made.
