Amaravati: After much anticipation, the YSRCP has revealed its candidate for the Anakapalli MP seat. Following Chief Minister Jagan’s recent announcement of candidates for 24 Parliament and 175 Assembly seats, the Anakapalli constituency remained pending. However, on Tuesday evening, the YSRCP leadership disclosed that Madugula MLA Budi Mutyala Naidu has been selected for the coveted position.

Meanwhile, it is confirmed that CM Ramesh will contest as a candidate for the TDP, Janasena, and BJP alliance, adding intensity to the electoral competition. Additionally, Eerla Anuradha, daughter of Mutyala Naidu, has been nominated as the candidate for the Madugu assembly seat, further solidifying YSRCP’s strategic moves in the upcoming elections. 

Naidu served as a deputy chief minister of the state and achieved a strong hold locally. He is likely to start campaign on Wednesday

With the candidates finalized, the political landscape in Anakapalli and surrounding areas is set for an intriguing battle as the election season approaches.
