TIRUMALA: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has made extensive preparations ahead of the Tumburu Theertha Mukkoti event scheduled for March 25, ensuring a smooth experience for trekkers starting from Sunday.

With Phalguna Suddha Pournami spanning across both Sunday and Monday, enthusiasts, particularly from Southern India and Maharashtra, flocked to Theertha. They trek to one of the region’s significant water bodies nestled within the lush Seshachala ranges.

Beginning at 5 am and continuing until 3 pm on Sunday, devotees were granted access to the trekking route, facilitated by TTD’s meticulous arrangements. An array of provisions including Annaprasadam packets, water, and buttermilk were distributed to trekkers, facilitated by dedicated Srivari Sevaks.

In anticipation of any medical emergencies, medical teams, equipped with ORS packets and ambulances, stood prepared to deliver prompt assistance.

To ensure the safety and security of devotees throughout their trek, security personnel and forest officials were stationed along the path.

On Monday, devotees will once again be permitted to trek to Tumburu Theertham, albeit within a restricted time frame, from 5 am to 11 am, as per TTD’s arrangements.
