Vijayawada: In a notable display of camaraderie, TDP’s Vijayawada MP candidate Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) paid a visit to former minister Devineni Umamaheswar Rao on Friday.

Chinni marked the occasion by celebrating Uma’s birthday in grand style, aiming to mend fences after the latter expressed disappointment over the party’s decision to allocate the Mylavaram MLA ticket to incumbent YSRCP MLA Vasanta Krishna Prasad.

Responding to Uma’s disquiet, the party’s high command embarked on a series of meetings to address his concerns and pacify any dissent within the ranks.

In a gesture of goodwill and unity, Chinni extended his visit to Uma’s residence, seeking his support in the upcoming elections in Mylavaram constituency.

The meeting between Chinni and Uma underscores the TDP’s efforts to foster solidarity and cohesion within the party, particularly in the face of internal challenges and electoral dynamics. It reflects a strategic move to consolidate support and rally behind candidates for the impending electoral battle.
