Amaravati: TDP’s national general secretary Varla Ramaiah, Koduru Akhil, and Syed Rafi filed a complaint with Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena, alleging blatant violations of the model code of conduct by officials. Ramaiah highlighted the organization of an online meeting by the school education principal secretary with parents, scheduled for April 2, deemed inappropriate during the election period. He urged the CEO to halt the meeting, alleging it aimed to sway parental votes towards the incumbent government.

Ramaiah further accused the police of inaction against attacks by YSRCP activists on TDP members, citing 18 instances post the model code’s enforcement. He urged the CEO to exclude DGP Rajendranath Reddy and Addl DGP of Intelligence PSR Anjaneyulu from election duties.

Moreover, Ramaiah criticized CM Jagan Mohan Reddy for allegedly misusing government funds for campaigning, citing the unauthorized use of APSRTC’s bulletproof buses. He demanded their return and immediate payment of rent.
