Vijayawada: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has leveled grave accusations against the Andhra Pradesh Intelligence authorities regarding alleged phone tapping.

At a workshop attended by MLA and MP candidates, TDP members apprehended a suspicious intelligence constable.

Bonda Uma Maheswara Rao, a member of the Polit Bureau, disclosed that the constable was caught attempting to gather mobile details of Vijayawada MP Candidate Kesineni Sivanath, also known as Kesineni Chinni.

Kesineni Chinni went on to accuse the AP Intelligence chief, PSR Anjaneyulu, of utilizing software to conduct surveillance on TDP leaders’ mobile phones.

He called upon the Election Commission of India (ECI) to take stringent measures against Anjaneyulu. These allegations have stirred controversy, sparking concerns about privacy infringements and potential abuse of authority.

The TDP’s insistence on an investigation into the matter underscores the escalating tensions between the party and the intelligence authorities in Andhra Pradesh.
