Sharmila slams Modi and Jagan: terms them secret friends

Vijayawada: AP Congress president YS Sharmila alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) turned both YSRCP and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) into puppets. She said that the BJP has been playing with the sentiments of the people of Andhra Pradesh for the last ten days.

Responding to the prime minister Narendra Modi’s speech at Praja Galam public meeting here on Monday Sharmila alleged thet YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in secret alliance with the BJP for the last five years. She questioned Modi that how can he link YSRCP and Congress party.

“Jagan and Modi are secret friends. BJP encouraged every single destructive move taken up by YSRCP. It permitted Jagan to borrow money above the FRBM limits,” Sharmila said.

She further added that Jagan gave MP seats and huge industries to Ambani, Adani and other friends of Modi which certifies their relation. Sharmila said that BJP is afraid of the Congress party and its promise to fulfill the long pending demand of ‘Special Category Status’ for the state.
