Gudivada: A controversy has erupted surrounding the nomination of former minister Kodali Nani, who is contesting as a YSRCP candidate for the Krishna District Gudivada Assembly seat. TDP leaders have lodged a complaint with the Returning Officer (RO), alleging inaccuracies in Nani’s nomination papers.

According to the complaint, Nani’s nomination included erroneous information, claiming that a municipal office was utilized as a camp office. However, authorities have provided documents indicating that the building in question was rented, contradicting the claim. The TDP demands Nani’s nomination be rejected due to the alleged misinformation.

Additionally, the TDP has filed a complaint regarding Nani’s affidavit, stating she did not utilize any government office. The decision of the returning officer on this matter is eagerly anticipated, as it could have significant implications for the upcoming elections in the region.
