Mangalagiri: MLC Vamsi Krishna Yadav joined Janasena party in the presence of party chief Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday. Vamsi Krishna Yadav is closely associated with YSRCP since its inception and played a key role in party activities at Visakhapatnam.
Vamsi Krishna Yadav contested from Visakhapatnam north constituency in 2014 and lost to Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu. He was denied MLA seat in 2019 elections and was also denied Visakhapatnam mayor post. However he won local bodies MLC elections in November 2021.
Vamsi Krishna Yadav was once again denied ticket by YSRCP following the 175/175 target set by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Vamsi along with his followers resigned from YSRCP and joined Janasena.
Pawan Kalyan welcomed Vamsi Krishna and said that both of them traveled together from 2008 during Praja Rayam days. Pawan said that entry of Vamsi is definitely beneficial for the party. Vamsi said that he will fulfill any responsibility assigned to him by the party chief Pawan Kalyan.
