Hyderabad: Deepa Das Munshi, the Congress party’s overseer for Telangana affairs, emphasized the party’s broader battle beyond the BJP. The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) organized a campaign committee meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, led by TPCC campaign committee chairman Madhuyashki Goud. Present were Deepa Das Munshi, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Manakondur MLA Kavvampalli Satyanarayana, MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, and Congress Party AICC Secretary Rohit Chaudhary.

Deepa Das provided guidance to the campaign committee, urging heightened efforts for success in the parliamentary elections, stressing the need to amplify the Congress government’s grassroots initiatives through hoardings, wall writings, and social media.

Madhuyashki underscored the exposure of alleged corruption in Modi’s government via the Electoral Bond system and advocated for the Congress’ proposed 100-day governance plan. The campaign aimed to showcase the party’s solutions to district-level issues, including the revival of the Nizamabad sugar factory and addressing concerns of beedi workers. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar reaffirmed the party’s dedication to inclusivity, targeting marginalized communities. The Congress highlighted its welfare programs despite inheriting significant debt.
