Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Secondary School Certificate (AP SSC) examination results for the academic year were announced by Commissioner Suresh Kumar on Monday, marking a significant milestone for over 6,16,615 lakhs candidates who appeared for the exams. This year, a remarkable 86.69% of students successfully passed the examinations, showcasing their dedication and hard work.

The examinations, which took place from March 18 to March 30, 2024, were followed by a meticulous valuation process from April 1 to April 8. Notably, this year marks the first time that results have been released before the academic year’s last working day, offering students an early insight into their performance.

A staggering 75,000 government officials worked tirelessly to ensure the exams were conducted with integrity and transparency. Among the noteworthy statistics, girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 89.17% compared to 84.32%.

The results also shed light on the performance of various schools, with 2803 schools achieving a commendable 100% pass percentage. However, there were also challenges, as only 17 schools managed to achieve a 0% pass percentage.

Parvathipuram Manyam secured the top spot with an impressive pass percentage of 96.37%, while Kurnool trailed with 62.47%. Additionally, institutions such as AP Residential, AP BC Welfare, and AP Model showcased outstanding performance with pass percentages of 98.43%, 98.43%, and 92.88% respectively.
