On the night of the 13th of February, Monday, shots were fired at Michigan State University, which killed 3 people and left approximately 5 injured.  The United States Police swarmed the main campus in East Lansing searching for a lone suspect of gunfire.

Getting into the details, at approximately 8:18 P.M., (U.S. local time,) shooting began Berkey Hall on campus with multiple 911 calls places from the location.  According to Interim Deputy Chief Chris Rozman, “Police responded quickly to the scene, but the suspect made their way to the Michigan State University Union and opened fire again. More victims were shot there.”

The suspect was last seen leaving the north side of the MSU Union on foot. The suspect was described as a Black male, short in stature and wearing red shoes, a jean jacket, a baseball cap, and a blue mask, said police.

In addition, the police released the image of the suspect and said, “Please secure in place immediately.”   The police further said, “Police are active on the scene.”

Meanwhile, the school also issued an alert to students as the situation continued.
