Saudi Arabia: 3 Suicide Bombings Near Medina, 4 Killed

Riyadh: On Monday, three suicide bombers struck across the Saudi Arabia killing 4 people and injuring several others. The explosions were planned in the evening when the people prepare to break their fast during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to a security official, the attacker parked a car near the US consulate in Jeddah and then detonated the bomb. The government was also checking the reports of explosions in Medina and Qatif. Another one was detonated near the security headquarters of the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina. In the attack, four security officers were killed and five others were also wounded. At least one and possibly two devices were detonated near a Shi’ite mosque.
