At least four officers were killed by two snipers in Dallas on Thursday. The snipers apparently shot 10 police officers during protests, according a police chief. According to a statement issued by the Dallas Police Chief, David Brown, “It appears that two snipers shot ten police officers from elevated positions during the protest/rally.”

The statement added that two people are in surgery and three others are in critical condition. It also stated, “An intensive search for suspects is currently underway.”

On Thursday, at around 8:45 pm, the exchange of gunfire took place when hundreds of people gathered to protest fatal police shootings in Baton Rouge, suburban St. Paul, Minnesota and Louisiana this week.
