The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) came in to effect in Telangana to take over the realty sectors of Bengaluru.

The Municipal Administration and the Urban Development Minister K.T. Rama Rao inaugurated the TS RERA office. Special Chief Secretary Rajeshwar Tiwari is the chairman of TS RERA. The launch of the RERA will soon be a threat to  Bengaluru’s real estate.

On Friday, KTR said, “Hyderabad’s growth history was already noted by several organisations and institutions such as JLL, Mercer and others who ranked it as the best Indian city in terms of living standards. They also certified that the real estate market here was on the growth path.”

It is clear that the agenda of the RERA in Hyderabad is to make the city the best and to transform Telangana‘s realty sector. The other motive behind RERA is to regulate and promote the realty sector, protect the interest of consumers, promote fair play in real estate transactions and ensure timely execution of projects.

Mr. Rao said, “Hyderabad is all set to overtake Bengaluru on the real estate map.”
