Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) said that he wishes to take the tourism ministry after BRS forms government for the third consecutive time in Telangana. KTR said that they developed the state in all forms in six and half years of ruling (excluding Covid-19 time), while Congress failed to do the same in six decades.

 

KTR addressed a meeting conducted by Business Networks International (BNI) on Friday and said that Telangana has huge scope for developing the tourism sector. He added that construction of new reservoirs increased the scope of tourism in the state.

 

KTR said that scope of eco, health, sports, devotional tourism is very high in Telangana and the government should grab those opportunities.

 

KTR said that the BRS government had kept special focus on the industries sector and had special incentives to the sick industries. He added that a dedicated department was instituted which helps sick units to get financial aid from the banks.

 

KTR said that Tamil superstar Rajni Kanth, BJP MP Sunny Deol had praises Telangana for its development and still opposition parties in the state has no concern to support the development.

 

He sought the support of people to win assembly elections scheduled on November 30, 2023.
