Hyderabad: First cabinet meeting chaired by Chief minister A Revanth Reddy had decided to conduct state assembly meetings from December 9. Oath taking of MLAs, election of speaker and other key processes will happen during the session. 

Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan will appoint the pro-tem speaker on the first day of the session. Pro-tem speaker will administer the oath with the MLAs.

Speaker and deputy speakers will be elected in this session. Governor to address the house on the last day of sessions. Newly formed Congress government is eyeing to focus on core issues and continuation of schemes like Rythu Bandhu which were stalled midway due to the election notification. 

Sources said that the state government had decided to speedup the process of implementing the six guarantees promised before the elections. CM Revanth Reddy is likely to address the session and explain the vision of his government.
