Hyderabad: Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy directed authorities to take up Music Riverfront development works on war footing. He asked officials to give a new shape to the river naturally without changing the course of the river. 

Revanth said that the Music riverfront should become a special attraction in the city attracting huge amounts of investments. Chief minister reviewed the Music project at Hyderabad Metro Development Authority (HMDA).

CM Reddy directed the authorities to verify the highest flood registered at the river and ensure that the master plan is designed in such a way that it doesn’t get affected due to the floods. 

Chief minister directed authorities to ensure that no sewage water gets merged into Music river. He said that cleaning of Music is top priority and advanced machinery should be roped in to clean the entire river.

CM directed Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) authorities to establish Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and release treated water into Music river. He verified the draft drawings and directed authorities to use drones to survey the entire riverbed.
