Rahul Gandhi, the former President of the Indian National Congress (INC,) is on a three day visit to Wayanad, Kerala.

Mr. Gandhi won the Lok Sabha elections from the Wayanad constituency and became the Member of Parliament (MP) of the Constituency. After his victory, it is his first visit to Wayanad.

Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter and shared, while in Wayanad, he will meet the residents of Wayanad and conduct several meetings with the Party workers.


 Mr. Gandhi, on the 7th of June, will visit Malappuram, Kerala, following which, he will move ahead to Wayanad and later, to Kozhikode. He will be in Kerala till the 9th of June.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to visit Kerala on the 8th of June.

On the 8th of June, Mr. Modi is scheduled to offer prayers at Sri Krishna Temple in Guruvayur, Kerala.

Later, on the 9th of June, Modi will visit Lord Venkateswara’s temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.

Rahul Gandhi, during his three day visit, will have more than 15 meetings with the public and the INC workers.
