Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed police authorities not to interrupt the city traffic to facilitate the movement of his convoy vehicles. Revanth Reddy on Friday conducted a review on city traffic and directed authorities to ensure that the common man doesn’t face any problems due to the movement of his convoy.

Revanth Reddy said that he is against the VVIP protocol and interrupting vehicular traffic on roads for a long time for CM convoy. He directed authorities to ensure that city traffic doesn’t get any interruption due to the movement of CM’s vehicles.

Revanth also directed the authorities to reduce the number of vehicles in his convoy from 15 to 9. Revanth added that he cannot sit in his home and he wants to move across the state and interact with the people and understand the problems at ground level.

Officials informed CM that they will stop the traffic a few minutes before CM convoy beggins. Traffic wing of Hyderabad to prepare a detailed action plan for reducing traffic congestion in the city.
