Hyderabad: Congress party is heading to include few more prestigious schemes to its election promises in Telangana. The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) is working on a scheme to give Rs.1 lakh and 10 grams of gold to the women during her marriage as a part of ‘Indiramma’ scheme. All India Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will announce the manifesto on Friday.

 

Congress which is targeting CM K Chandra Sekhar Rao (KCR) for poor availability to the public is planning a daily public grievance programme ‘CM Praja Dharbar) in which the chief minister directly interacts with the public. Congress also proposed to give free Internet facilities to the students.

 

The Congress party also proposed to bring ‘Bhoomatha’ portal instead of ‘Dharani’ portal brought by the KCR for land study. Congress also proposed to waive Rs.2 lakhs worth crop loans at a time and also promised Rs. 3 lakh interest free crop loan. Mega DSC within six months to fill up vacancies, 24 hours free power to the farmers, 50 percent concession in metro rail travel for women and old aged were among some of the election promises proposed in the manifesto.
