Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed the authorities to make arrangements for the foundation ceremony of the new High Court building complex. Revanth met TS High Court chief justice Justice Alok Aradhe on Thursday.

Chief justice informed the chief minister that old buildings at the existing high court were in dilapidated condition and asked the CM to sanction necessary funds for the construction of a new court complex at 100 acres of land sanctioned at Rajendra Nagar area. He also requested the CM to sanction necessary funds for the construction of district courts.

In response CM Revanth Reddy assured to sanction necessary funds for the construction of new high court buildings. Revanth submitted to the CJ that the groundbreaking and foundation ceremony of the new high court will be conducted in January 2024.

Revanth Reddy later conducted a review meeting on new high court buildings. CM asked chief secretary Santa Kumar to make arrangements for the foundation ceremony of the new high court. He also requested the authorities to take necessary arrangements to restore the existing High court building since it is a heritage construction.
