BJP is only alternative for BRS and Congress: Modi

Nirmal: Prime minister Narendra Modi asserted that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will get absolute majority in Telangana and form government. He said that BJP is the only alternative for Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Congress in the state.

Modi addressed ‘Sakala Janula Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha’ public meetings at Toopran and Normal on Sunday and said that the victory of BJP at Dubbaka and Huzurabad is just a trailer and the real picture will be revealed in the assembly elections. BJP is the only party committed for the social empowerment of the weaker section and expressed confidence over party’s victory in assembly elections scheduled on November 29.

Modi promised that the BC candidate will become CM of the state and all communities will get representation in the state cabinet based on their representation. Modi opined that BCs were neglected in the last ten years of the BRS government.

Modi termed BRS and Congress and family parties and alleged that they were deeply struck in corruption. “Congress government did the Bofors scam, Helicopter scam and many others. KCR followed the footsteps of Congress. KCR took commissions in every work. He looted the state in the name of irrigation projects. BRS MLAs looted the state by taking 30% commissions in public works. KCR promised to work for the public before the bifurcation of the state. But he cared for his family as soon as he came into power. He entered national politics to loot the nation,” Modi alleged.

Prime minister alleged that KCR wants to see his son KTR as chief minister of the state and hence is trying hard to win the polls. KCR constructed a farm house with public money, but ignored the promise of constructing a home for the poor,” Modi said.

He hoped that Congress will lose elections and BJP will come into power. Modi will conduct a roadshow at Hyderabad on Monday.
