Guwahati: Assam based industrialist Naveen Chandra Borah laid foundation stone for installing a 190 feet tall statue of prime minister Narendra Modi.
Naveen, is a big fan of Narendra Modi and decided to install the statue in his own place. The statue will be 250 feet tall including the base. The industrialist had engaged a reputed agency to take up work.
The idols will wear Assam style scarf and pure city on design Kurta. The foundation and ground breaking ceremony was conducted in a festive spirit for almost three days. Thousands of locals and BJP leaders attended the event.
Naveen told the media that he had already sent the designs and funds details to PMO and was very happy to be a part of the project.
Locals at Assam said that Naveen Chandra received a certificate from Narendra Modi in 2016 and later he became a big follower of PM.
