Mr. Nandamuri Balakrishana, Tollywood actor tested positive for the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)

The actor Mr. Nandamuri Balakrishana’s PR team released an official statement regarding the same and confirmed the news, of being positive for the Novel Coronavirus.

The official statement by Mr. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s PR team read, “#NandamuriBalakrishna is tested positive for COVID19 with no symptoms.  He is under home isolation following all precautions.  He requested the people who met him in the past 2 days to get tested and take care.  Wishing him a speedy recovery. #NBK.” 

Notably, this is the second time that Mr. Nandamuri Balakrishan tested positive for the Wuhan virus, the first in August 2021, despite being vaccinated with a double dose, against the virus.

After the news, the fans and celebrities poured messages and wished for a speedy recovery of the actor.  One fan of Mr. Nandamuri Balakrishna posted,  “Get well soon #Balayya come back fast and strong.”  Another one said, “Make a speedy recovery.  Lots of love.”

Mr. Nandamuri Balakrishan is the son of the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr. N.T. Rama Rao.   The actor turned politician contested as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA)  from Hindupur on the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) ticket and won in 2014.  Later, in 2019 also, he again contested for the Hindpur MLA seat and won from the same constituency.
