Chennai: Music composer AR Rahman‘s magical number “Thalli Pogathey” from his upcoming film “Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada” is a new sensation on YouTube as it bagged more than 10 million views. The romantic track was released on January 16, 2016 and it became a viral hit on the YouTube. Looks like, the successful duo Gautham Vasudev Menon and AR Rahman is all ready to set silver screens afire with their work.
Filmmaker Gautham Menon took to his micro-blogging site Twitter and expressed gratitude to his fans. He wrote, “One crore views of thallipogathey..that’s great validation of a new age song, straight from the heart composition and soul stirring lyrics.”
Not just the Tamil track, the Telugu version of the same song titled “Vellipomaakey” also stole the hearts and bagged more than 3 million views on the YouTube.
Written and directed by Gautham Menon, the Tamil version stars Silambarasan and Manjima Mohan in lead roles and in the Tollywood, Naga Chaitanya will be seen romancing Manjima in “Sahasam Swasaga Saagipo” (Telugu title).
