Mr. Tom Holland’s Spiderman: No Way Home, has now crossed $ 1 billion grossing movies of the pandemic era.  Released recently, in just 10 days, the movie had a record breaking box office collection, globally.

The movie released recently is the third fastest to reach the 1 billion dollar mark in just 12 days. 

Before Spiderman: No Way Home, Infinity War and Endgame, crossed the $1 billion mark in just 11 days and 5 days respectively.  However, Spiderman: No Way Home is the first movie, which crossed the mark in the Wuhan virus pandemic. 

Besides, in India, the film (Spiderman: No Way Home) has also been doing extremely well in India, better than all the domestic releases. It has earned Rs. 164. 92 crores at the box office already and is inching towards the Rs. 200 crore mark. Notably, the film has not been released in China, which has a huge market for films.  Sony Pictures’ Spiderman sequel is the biggest grossing picture in 2021.  In addition, the release of Spiderman: No Way Home, also set a vision for films’ theatrical releases, showing how people are willing to visit theaters and watch movies.

On Saturday, the 25th of December, Christmas, it earned Rs. 10.10 crores at the box office, despite being in the second week.
