Chennai: A film set worth Rs 4 crore is erected in Chennai for the upcoming film “Iru Mugam“, starring Vikram in a lead role, according to reports. At present, the actor is busy shooting for the movie. The team is expected to head to Bangkok for the next schedule.
If reports are to be believed, the set is a replica of a tunnel in Malaysia, where a portion of the film was shot. ‘Busy Bee’ Nayanthara will be seen playing the role of a female lead in the film opposite Vikram.
Directed by Anand Shankar, “Iru Mugam” also stars Nithya Menen in an important role. Music director Harris Jayaraj is composing the music for the science fiction thriller. The film is expected to hit silver screens on July 7, 2016.
