Kannada actor Mr. Puneeth Rajkumar has been undergoing treatment at Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Around 11:30 A.M., Mr. Puneeth Rajkumar complained of chest pain, following which he was immediately rushed to the hospital.  A team of doctors and surgeons led by Dr. Ranganath  Nayak is treating the actor at Vikram Hospital. 

In a press release about the health situation of Mr. Puneeth Rajkumar, Dr. Ranganath Nayak said, “Trying our best to treat him.  His condition is serious.Can’t say anything as of now.  His condition was bad when brought to the hospital, and was treated in the ICU (intensive care unit.)”

Meanwhile, the news of Mr. Puneeth Rajkumar in the hospital due to sudden cardiac arrest, was a shock to his fans and co stars. 

Mr. Basavaraj S. Bommai, the Chief Minister of Karnataka, on Friday afternoon visited Vikram Hospital to check on Puneeth Rajkumar. 

A detailed statement from the hospital about the current health situation of the actor is expected.
