On the cards: Puri to direct Mahesh Babu’s next

Hyderabad: The bankable duo, Mahesh Babu and Puri Jaganadh is gearing up to work on an all new project, which is yet-to-be-titled. The collaboration of actor Mahesh and director Puri is a successful one in the Telugu film industry as they set box office on fire with the blockbusters – “Pokiri” and “Businessman”. Looks like that project is finally on the cards.

In the past, Puri had given the actor a couple of story outlines, but nothing really worked out. Finally, Mahesh gave his nod for the script, which is touted to be an action entertainer. The name of the actress is not yet finalized. If all goes well, the film will hit floors by the end of the year.

Currently, Mahesh is busy with “Brahmotsavam” and after completing it, he will join the shoot of Murugadoss film. Meanwhile, Puri is busy with upcoming films “Rogue” and Puri also has to wrap up Rogue and Kalyan Ram’s untitled next.
