Recently, netizens criticized Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu for endorsing a tobacco (pan masala) brand with Tiger Shroff.

The flak from internet users came after Babu recently said, “Bollywood can’t afford me”.

Notably, during promotions of his upcoming movie “Major” the actor was asked about his Bollywood debut, to which he said, he’s not interested and Bollywood can’t afford him. Although he apologized and clarified his statement, many Twitter users expressed disappointment over the remark. Furthermore, after the recent commercial brand endorsement of Tobacco,  a user said that Bollywood cannot afford Mahesh Babu but a tobacco brand can.

Meanwhile, on one hand, many users mostly Mahesh’s fan-supported him, the other bunch people criticized the actor for his statement.
