Hyderabad: Finally, the wait is over! Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited 150th film kick-started on Thursday. Tentatively titled “Kathilantodu”, the film is one of the most-anticipated dramas in the Telugu film industry as it marks Chiru’s comeback film.
It is heard that the first schedule will be shot in a prison set that has been erected for the movie. Being directed by V.V. Vinayak, the makers are yet to announce the details of the leading lady and other cast of the film. Music director Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to score tunes to the forthcoming commercial entertainer.
The eagerly-awaited flick is an official remake of Tamil blockbuster “Kaththi”. Written and directed by A R Murugadoss, the original film stars Vijay in the lead.
