Suchitra leaks, Update!

Singer Suchitra Karthik, on Friday, released private pictures of few big stars of Indian Film Industry. This libelous outburst shook the Kollywood Industry. The singer has included actors, actresses, directors, producers and even composers in this outburst. She also made allegations that they sought favors in exchange for roles in films. The actress also mentioned that she was repeatedly abused by a senior actor.

Suchitra also released pictures of big stars like Dhanush, Anirudh Ravichander, Amala Paul and Chinmayi among others. She alleged that the stars had an ‘arrangement’ with top directors and actors.

The big names included Trisha, Andrea, Hansika Motwani and Divyadarshini. The singer then went ahead and claimed that her account was hacked and soon deleted these pictures. While everyone took a breath of relief after this incident, she went ahead and posted a series of tweets the same night.

Suchitra speaking to a TV Channel on Friday evening said, “My Twitter account has been hacked and I didn’t know that several private photos of celebrities had been posted on my page until Aditi Ravindranath, a friend of Dhanush, called me on Friday morning. I’ve hired a private investigator to find out who’s behind all this.” She was asked if she would approach the police regarding this and file a FIR to which she said, “My life is under threat. I’m not in a position to leave my home right now. So, I’m banking on a private investigator.”

Suchitra’s timeline was soon switched to private, which raised eyebrows and gained even more attention. Amidst this confusion, the singer’s husband Karthik Kumar released a statement that his wife was mentally ill and said, “It is indicative of a certain emotional state and a condition that she’s in and all of us in the family are trying our best to help her and address this situation,” he added “I thank everyone in the industry for their support and understanding that what has happened to Suchitra could happen to anyone. I hope she would be treated the same way as you would treat your own family member.”
