FIR registered against Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar

Mumbai: Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar landed in hot water ! An FIR has been registered against them for criminal breach of trust and forgery for promoting an online shopping portal. It is heard that the shopping site is allegedly duping customers.

Advocate Rajat Bansal lodged the FIR against the directors of the site “askmebazaar.com” – Piyush Pankaj, Sanjiv Gupta, Kiran Kumar, Sriniwas Murti, Anand Sonbhadra and marketing officer Puja Goyal.

Mr Bansal is a resident of Keshav Nagar in Madiyaon police station.The FIR has been registered under the sections 420 (Forgery) and 406 (Punishment for criminal breach of trust).

In the FIR, Mr Bansal said that he had ordered a 40-inch LED TV from the shopping site on August 23 and had paid Rs 29,999 for it through his debit card but failed to get the TV within 10 days. He added that due to promotion of the portal by the Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar, people fall in trap of the site, which sent him the bill but not the product.

The police are investigating the case but however the officials of the portal could not be contacted.nbir
