Mumbai: The ‘Beauty With Purpose’, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is gearing up to walk the red carpet of Cannes 2016. She has been attending the most prestigious film festival since the past 15 years. Every year, the Bollywood actress makes a remarkable mark on the red carpet with her fabulous choice of fashion and accessories. Like every year, the fans are waiting with bated breath to watch their favourite star walk the red carpet in style.
In an interview, when she was asked about her dress for the fest, she said, “”I think it is a bit too early as I would be meeting you all soon (referring to promotions of Sarbjit). Laying out the wardrobe is too early. I am a girl on the go. But I have never spent sleepless nights planning the Cannes red carpet.”
She added, “The experience has been different year after year. It has been 15 years and I am thankful to L’Oreal for this. It’s a great exchange of ideas with different people you meet. I am glad that I got an opportunity to share my thoughts and work at this prestigious festival. I feel humbled and privileged to speak there and represent Indian cinema and be a member of film fraternity. It has been a precious experience.”
On the work front, she made an impressive comeback with Sanjay Gupta’s “Jazbaa” and is awaiting the release of her much-talked-about upcoming film “Sarbjit”. She is also a part of filmmaker Karan Johar’s next offering “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”.
