Veteran Tollywood film editor Mr. Goutham Raju (68) passed away after midnigh,  on the 6th of July, Tuesday.

According to sources, Mr. Goutham Raj was suffering from health issues for some time and was admitted in a Hyderabad hospital.  However, he got discharged on Tuesday and was at his home, when suddenly his health deteriorated and he took his last breath,  at 1:30 A.M., on the 6th of July, at his house in Hyderabad.   

Upon hearing the demise of Mr. Goutham Raju, the film industry expressed shock and extended condolences to the bereaved family members. 

Furthermore, highlighting the cinema career of Mr. Goutham Raju, he started as film editor with Chiranjeevi starer Chattaniki Kallu levu movie.  After his kickstart, Mr. Goutham Raju worked as an editor in more than 850 movies in various languages, like  Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada.  Mr. Goutham also won the “Nandi” award as the best editor for Aadi movie. 

He worked for many Telugu hit movies and actors like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Mr. Pawan Kalyan, Junior NTR, Ramcharan, Allu Arjun.

Some hit films edited by Mr. Goutham Raju are: Aadi (2002,) Khaidi number 150 (2017,) Gabbar Singh (2012,) Kick 2 (2015,) Resu Gurram (2014,) Gopala Gopala (2015,) Adhurs (2010,)  Balupu (2013,)  Racha (2012,) Oosaravelli (2011,)  Badrinath (2011,) Venkatadri Express (2013) and Katamarayudu (2017.)

Mr. Goutham Raju last worked on the movie released recently in 2022, staring Tollywood actor Mr. Mohan Babu, Son of India.
