Hyderabad: Celebrities of Telugu film industry announced aid for the Chennai flood victims. The incessant rains hit the normal life of the Chennai. With this, actors including Mahesh Babu, Rajinikanth, Jr NTR, Allu Arjun and others contributed for the relief in flood-affected Tamil Nadu.
Super star Mahesh Babu donated Rs. 10 lakh for the victims of Chennai floods and Jr NTR also donated Rs 10 lakh. South super star Rajinikanth also donated Rs 10 lakh. Actor Suriya and his brother Karthi contributed Rs 25 lakh.
Allu Arjun took to Twitter and tweeted, “I would like to donate 25 lakh to Chennai flood relief. I spent 18 years of my early life there. It made me who I am today. I love u Chennai.”
Actor Ravi Teja donated Rs 5 lakh and Kalyanram contributed Rs 5 lakh. Actor Varun Tej announced Rs.3 lakh and Sampoornesh Babu contributed Rs.50,000.
“Shocked and saddened at the natural calamity engulfing Chennai. This is the time to stand in support for our fellow citizens. I did my bit,” wrote Ravi Teja on his Twitter handle.
