Hyderabad: Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi is making his comeback on silver screen with his 150th film, which is an official remake of Tamil super hit “Kaththi” that stars Vijay in the lead. Ever since the project was announced, the upcoming film titled “Kathilantodu” is in the news with its latest updates and developments.
Recently, the regular shooting of the film has begun in the city and the team is working with a rapid pace. While there is no official announcement on the female lead opposite Chiru, speculation is rife that the makers are planning to rope in Nayanthara.
On the other, much delight to the Chiru fans, a new buzz is doing rounds stating that the makers approached actress Vijayashanthi, who delivered many blockbusters pairing with the Megastar. It is heard that the makers narrated a character to her and she also liked it but yet to sign the project. If all goes well, T-Town would love to see their favourite stars sharing screen space once again and the film will also mark it as her comeback movie after 12-long-years.
