Amitabh Bachchan In And As “Kabali”?

Mumbai: Looks like Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster “Kabali” is on the cards! Starring super star Rajinikanth in the lead, his recent offering “Kabali” made headlines with its plot and his style as an ageing don. Now, buzz says that Bollywood Mega star Amitabh Bachchan is prepping up to play the title role in the Hindi remake of “Kabali”.

According to reports, a source said, “Bachchan will star in the remake of the much-talked-about film. The reason Rajini’s Tamil films don’t do well when dubbed in Hindi is because they are very culture-specific. The film is set in the Tamil community in Malaysia. The flavour, culture and dialogues are all peculiar to the Tamil community.”

Opened to packed houses on July 22, the film garnered enough attention from the audiences. Written and directed by Pa. Ranjith, the revenge drama features critically acclaimed actress Radhika Apte in the romantic lead opposite Rajini.

If all goes well, B-Town will witness “Big B Da!”
