Mumbai: The movie makers of all film industries are vying for the remake rights of the Tamil blockbuster hit “Kaththi“, starring Vijay in dual roles. Directed by A R Murugadoss, the movie was a super hit at the box office and impressed the audience. The action drama also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Neil Nitin Mukesh and others in major roles.

Now, the B-Town is abuzz that the actor Akshay Kumar is likely to play the dual roles in the Hindi remake of “Kaththi”. Tentatively titled as “Ikka“, the remake version is one of the much-hyped projects in the Bollywood. An official confirmation is still awaited in this regard.

At present, the actor wrapped the shoot of “Airlift” and is awaiting the release. The movie is slated for a release on January 22, 2016. He finished the shoot of his upcoming comedy drama “Housefull 3” and is working on next project “Rustom“.
