Mumbai: Veteran actor Manoj Kumar will be honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke award for his immense contribution to the Indian Cinema. Manoj Kumar is the 47th recipient of the award, the highest recognition in film industry. The award consists of a golden lotus, a shawl and a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh.
The actor also won National Award for his movie “Upkaar” and was also conferred with the Padma Shri in 1992. Known for his films “Purab Aur Paschim”, “Kranti” and others, he won well-deserved recognition in the industry.
