On the 30th of January, Sunday, the Telugu State of Telangana, reported as many as 2,484 new Wuhan virus cases, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)

Notably, the cases declined from the previous over 3,000 cases everyday. For the first time in the past 1 week, the Telugu state reported below 2,500 cases. In addition, Telangana recorded 1 death and 4,027 recoveries.

According to sources, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported the highest number of cases with 1,045 cases, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri with 138 cases and Rangareddy district with 130 cases.  The total new cases were confirmed after conducting 65,623 tests, taking the tally to 3.30 crore.

With this, Telangana currently has 38,723 active cases of the Wuhan virus, 4,086 dead cases and 7,18,271 recovered cases with 94.38% recovery rate.
